the brief
a d&ad: new blood award submission responding to the 21 grams brief. the goal was to subvert expectations around healthcare communication and encourage young people (18-25 years old) to take the hpv vaccine.

the decisions
i designed "guardian of the future": an interactive Discord quiz prototype that flips the script on medical stigma. instead of a clinical layout, i used a gamified ui, bold branding, and a conversational tone. by blending sharp ux logic with visual communication, i transformed an intimidating medical choice into an accessible, engaging digital experience.

the outcome
the final prototype proves that healthcare design doesn't have to be boring to be effective. by designing an interface that speaks the user's language, rather than talking down to them, the project successfully turns awareness into action.
